The Princess of Wales has once again flaunted her thrifty style, recycling a pair of earrings to attend an event in central London tonight.

Kate Middleton, 41, donned a striking £75 pair of earrings from CHALK’s ‘Regency’ collection, for tonight’s launch event for her Shaping Us early years campaign at BAFTA.

The royal, who was accompanied by her husband Prince William, 40, looked confident in the ‘Florence’ earrings, which the London-based brand describes as part of a ‘timeless collection’.

CHALK’s website says of the earrings: “The majestic forms of ornate detailing and geometry found within the Royal Opera House’s Main Stage Auditorium ceiling have been reimagined throughout this collaboration to create a collection timeless”.

Kate paired the statement earrings with a crimson monochrome outfit: a tailored red pantsuit, with matching heels and clutch. Her Alexander McQueen suit exuded elegance with its leg-lengthening silhouette crafted in red Italian crepe.

She wore the outfit to attend the launch of her Shaping Us Early Years campaign, which aims to increase public understanding of the crucial importance of the first five years of a child’s life.

Led by The Royal Foundation Center for Early Childhood, the campaign seeks to “transform the issue of scientific interest into one of the most strategically important issues of our time.”
