The Prince and Princess of Wales treated their three children to a fun day out at a military air show today.
Looking typically chic, Kate, 41, a patron of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets, opted for a statement beige blazer with a white blouse and tailored blue pants as she scouted a plane with her youngest son, Prince Louis, five.
She also joined Prince George, nine, and Princess Charlotte, eight, at the Royal International Air Tattoo in Gloucestershire.
The three young royals looked delighted to kick off their summer getaway with the outing – even if the weather didn’t quite play along with gray skies providing an overcast backdrop to the action.
George, Charlotte and Louis joined Kate, who is a patron of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets, and William, 41, at the air show in Gloucestershire, after leaving school for the summer.

The event is one of the world’s largest air shows in the world, with all proceeds from the weekend going to The Royal Air Force Charitable Trust – supporting initiatives such as technical and flying grants.
Kate took over the role of patron of the Air Cadet organization from Prince Philip in December 2015. Meanwhile, from 2010 to 2013, William served with the RAF’s Search and Rescue Force, based at RAF Valley in Anglesey.
The family’s release comes after a royal expert claimed William is a “hands-on, caring father” and “not a workaholic like his father King Charles.”
The 40-year-old Prince of Wales completed just 190 engagements last year, compared to his father’s 497 – but former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond has praised William’s different approach to royal life.
She said the father of three prioritizes his family because he knows how much it means to his children [Prince George, nine, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five] ‘to be present on weekends and holidays and whenever he can’.
William previously commented on the king’s workaholic nature, telling a BBC documentary in 2018 that he would like to have more “family time” with his hard-working father.
Speak against OK! magazineSaid Jennie: ‘With the late Queen’s frail health, William probably had to transition to his full-time royal job sooner than he had hoped, but you can see how committed he is now.
“However, I also admire the fact that he is not a workaholic like his father, he knows how important family life is… He seems to be a real, practical, caring father,” she added.

Asked in the Prince, Son and Heir – Charles at 70 BBC documentary in 2018 if his father “has time to be a grandfather on top of everything else,” William cautiously replied.
In previous years, Charles is said to have privately expressed frustration at not getting to see as many of his grandchildren as the Middleton family, a claim his aides have always angrily rejected.
But his eldest son made it clear that he wanted more “family time” with his hard-working father.
William said, ‘It’s something I’m working on more, so to speak. I think he has time for it, but I would like him to have more time with the kids.
Now that he’s hit his 70s, it’s a perfect time to consolidate a little bit because, as most families would, you worry about having them around and making sure their health is in okay – and he’s the fittest man I know, but I want him too. stay fit until he is 95.
“So spending more time with him at home would be great, and being able to play with the grandkids. Because when he’s there, he’s brilliant. But we need him there as much as possible.’
William added: ‘He has great personal discipline. So he’s got — and it’s frustrated me a lot in the past — he’s got a routine. The only way to fit all this stuff in is to put them in boxes. The man never stops.
“I mean, when we were kids, there were bags and bags and bags of work that the office just sent to him. We barely made it to his desk to say goodnight.’
But it’s been a busy few weeks for Kate, with the princess attending Wimbledon last week.
The mum-of-three – who has been a patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club since 2016 – looked elegant when she arrived on Tuesday in a pretty pleated white skirt and £1,950 mint green Balmain blazer.
For the event, she wore her hair in loose waves over her shoulders and opted for neutral make-up, with a touch of eyeliner and a touch of rouge.
Meanwhile, she kept her jewelery simple, with a pearl bracelet and £72 Chunky Knot Baroque Pearl Earrings from Shyla.
Kate’s choice of Balmain for her outfit marked the first appearance of the royal on the French label. Celebrity fans of the fashion house include Cara Delevingne and Kim Kardashian.
Meanwhile, Balmain’s creative director previously said he would love dressing Kate’s sister-in-law Meghan Markle, describing her as “confident, sexy and respectful.”
When play began on Center Court, Kate was seated in the Royal Box, where she was greeted with a standing ovation.
During the outing, Kate showed kindness as she welcomed her close friend Roger Federer to a special ceremony at Wimbledon.
She was one of those who applauded enthusiastically when Federer, 41, was honored for his great sporting achievements on Center Court after he retired last year.
Meanwhile, his wife Mirka watched in the Royal Box, which included Prince Michael of Kent and his daughter Lady Gabriella and former Prime Minister David Cameron and his wife Samantha.
A patron and sports fan of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, the Princess of Wales is a regular at the Royal Box and has developed a strong relationship with the eight-time Wimbledon winner.
She even broke royal protocol in 2017, planting three kisses on his cheeks as she congratulated the sportsman on winning the tournament for the eighth time, while the Prince of Wales and Federer’s wife Mirka looked on.
The playful friendship extends beyond the court, with Kate and Roger working on several projects together and both starring in a video about the work of ball boys and girls at the end of June, where the tennis royal put the tennis star to the test.
