Kate Langbroek has revealed how she feels about the departure of her co-star, Carrie Bickmore, from The Project.
The 57-year-old tells Stellar Magazine that she wasn’t surprised that Carrie, 41, quit because she had such a heavy workload.

“Let’s not forget, as Pete Helliar said, that she’s retiring for a full-time radio job,” Kate told the publication.
“Because she has such a great work ethic, she’s actually held two full-time jobs,” the media personality explained.
“Three, if you count her family and her foundation commitments.”

The star went on to say she gave Carrie advice on what it’s like to walk away from a full-time job – Kate famously left her radio show to live with her family in Italy during an extended sabbatical.
‘Of course I offered something, because I always give advice. I just told her about what I learned in that process and what was a revelation to me at first,” she said.
Carrie announced her departure from The project after 12 years on the air last month.
“Let’s not forget, like Pete Helliar said, she’s retiring and going to be doing radio full-time,” Kate said.

She will leave and leave Channel 10 after she finishes this month, leaving her next career move unclear.
The radio star had struggled to get episodes recorded “in Ten’s studios in South Yarra while they were preparing for The Project, or in a granny right behind her house.” The Herald Sun reported.
The publication pointed out that the television personality struggled to film the drive time show while balancing her other outing.
