Kate Hudson reveals being fan of The Bachelor franchise while promoting podcast on Jimmy Kimmel Live on ABC
Kate Hudson said on Monday during an appearance on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live that she was a fan of The Bachelor.
“Oh yes,” said Kate. “I took a bit of a break and then Golden Bachelor brought me back.” Because I watched one episode and bawled my eyes out and then I was hooked.”
Kate, 44, wearing a short black dress with a plunging neckline, told Jimmy, 56, that she met the star of this season’s The Bachelor, Joey Graziadei, who also appeared on the talk show after the season premiere.
“Very beautiful eyes,” said Kate.
Kate appeared on the talk show with her brother Oliver Hudson, 47, to promote their podcast Sibling Revelry.

They shared stories about their father Kurt Russell, 72, who always found himself in interesting scenarios. Kate said she was once at her friend’s house watching the NBA Finals, down the street from where OJ Simpson lived at the time.
“It was a big chase,” Kate said, referring to the infamous chase of the fugitive on June 17, 1994. “OJ was on the 405 and Kurt suddenly said, ‘Oh, he’s going home.’ Next thing you know he gets in the car and takes off and goes to OJ’s house. I do not know why. Just to see what happens.”
Kate said they saw Kurt on TV behind the caution tape at OJ’s house. Oliver said his father also “had a run-in with Ted Bundy, he beat up Tex Watson, Charlie Manson’s right-hand man.”
“Maybe I don’t believe any of these stories,” Kate said.
Kate said that their family was very imaginative and that they once went to great lengths to fool one of their childhood friends that they were actually a family of vampires.
“We fooled him twice,” Kate said. ‘We told him we were going to launch a spaceship from our house. ‘
Kate didn’t say anything about the strict aunt to Oliver’s children.
“Our parents were so relaxed,” Kate said.
Jimmy asked if she and Oliver were dating each other’s friends.

“Date is a big word,” Kate said. “There were a lot of connections.”
“There are also discrepancies here because Kate has been in contact with my friend Scott Caan, who is also an actor,” Oliver said.
“I never kissed Scottie,” Kate said. ‘It never happened. Scottie said it never happened.”
“I still don’t believe him,” Oliver said.
“I’m on Oliver’s side,” Jimmy said.
Jimmy said that if Scott ever comes back on the show, they would put him on a lie detector and ask him.
“I would do it and I would win,” Kate said. “I would beat it. I would tell the truth.’
