Kate Hudson lip-syncs with daughter Rani Rose, five, to promote her debut single Talk About Love
Kate Hudson promoted her soon-to-be-released single Talk About Love by sharing a sweet video to her TikTok account on Friday morning.
In the clip, the 44-year-old actress was joined by her daughter Rani Rose, five, as they lip-synced to the song, which will make its official debut next Tuesday.
The artist – who doesn’t ‘force’ her healthy lifestyle on her children – and her youngest child also wore floral print pajamas as they built excitement for the song’s release.
Hudson initially revealed she was embarking on a music career in a post shared to her Instagram account last April.
The actress’s singing skills were showcased in several of her previous projects, including How to Lose a Guy In Ten Days and Nine.

The Almost Famous actress further spoke about her new project during an episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that aired last December.
During her time on the show, the artist expressed via People that she had been writing music since she was 19, although she had ‘never’ shared her songs with the public.
Hudson subsequently stated that the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic had reignited her interest in starting a musical career, noting that she did not want to miss her opportunity to express herself through music.
“I thought that would be one of my biggest regrets. I have no expectations. I just want to put out a record, and that’s what I’m doing. And I’m really proud of it. I can’t wait,” she said.
When asked for information about the release of her upcoming album, she stated that it would be released at an unspecified date in 2024.
Variety announced that Hudson had signed a management deal for her music career with Jason Owen and Sandbox Entertainment earlier this month.
The artist also released a statement, writing that “writing this album has been the most satisfying and compelling experience of the past year and a half.”

The Academy Award-nominated artist also included a snippet of her soon-to-be-released song in her post.
She wrote that she was “extremely excited” to release her debut single in the caption of her post.
