The clip showed the How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days star and her fiancé Danny Fujikawa shopping for festive decorations with their child as they bundled up for the freezing temperatures in the Big Apple.

The trio picked out a small Christmas tree measuring almost 60cm for Raini and also took home adorable reindeer and snowmen fashioned from miniature tree stumps and spare logs.

And Kate has previously been candid about managing the dynamics of her ‘patchwork’ family.

The actress-turned-singer told People, “We are very connected and we are very close. Love can change form. It’s interesting if you have a modern family; There is so much love for all the children!

“I think the unique thing about my life is that in this patchwork family, we all have it figured out… The kids feel like they have a huge family.”

The Marshall star also said her exes’ children are “like sisters” to her daughter Raini.

She said, “My exes and Rani’s daughters are like sisters… There is something that can be cherished in our family and that’s personally what I think it is, it’s very rare.”

The hitmaker said she had previously babysat Bellamy’s four-year-old daughter, who he shares with new wife Elle Evans.

She said, “I’m like, ‘Yes, bring her here!’ And I sit with all the kids and I think, I’m so happy that we have a real family unit that’s big. It’s beautiful. Everyone is open to it and understands that this is the most mature thing for the children. And you can see that in them: they feel loved, they feel protected, they feel safe.’
