Kate Hudson dishes on dating Nick Jonas when she was 36 and he was 23 in candid interview: ‘He’s like an old man in a young man’s body’

Kate Hudson has opened up about her relationship with Nick Jonas when she was 36 and he was 23 in a candid new interview.

The Almost Famous actress, now 45, and the 31-year-old singer were sparked by romance rumors in 2015 when they were photographed enjoying a day at Disney World and partying in New York City. However, it was never confirmed that they were in a relationship.

On Wednesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, Hudson asked Cohen during the Plead The Fifth segment, “There were tons of rumors going around in 2015 and 2016 about your relationship with Nick Jonas that you dodged, even on this show.”

‘Looking back on it now, how would you describe that relationship?’

She replied, “A moment? A moment. Sweet, nice, kind… he’s like an old man in a young man’s body, and we love him.’

Jonas has said before that he has ‘so much’ ‘admiration and respect’ for Hudson during an interview with Complex in 2016.

He said: ‘Kate is incredible. We had an incredible connection as two people who just admire things in each other and see something beautiful in each other.’

Hudson also revealed when she was single – many stars slid into her DMs

She said, ‘Look, it’s a great way to meet people, and a great thing to make your ego feel great. Like, ‘Oh, that one snuck in.’ But I had a lot of [of DMs]…I like flirting, that’s why I had to spend a year without flirting. Yeah, now it’s over.’

Jonas has been married to actress Priyanka Chopra, 42, since 2018 and the couple have a two-year-old daughter, Malti Marie.

In May, Hudson opened up about not dating men for a year after her therapist advised her to “take a break from men.”

Appears on the Call her daddy podcast on Wednesday, the star said: “I couldn’t flirt – at all.”

She continued: ‘I got to a point where I thought, ‘I don’t want to keep repeating patterns anymore.”

“But it did feel empowering in a weird way,” she explained.

Despite feeling “uncomfortable” during the first few months of her dating ban, Hudson said she had a “breakthrough” and that the break “allowed her to see things much more clearly.”
