Kate Beckinsale has hit back at a vile troll who claimed her beloved dog will die as she battles a mysterious health condition.
The actress, 50, is in hospital for undisclosed reasons and during her stay at the medical center she has been visited by her pet Mylf and cat Willow.
After posting a photo with her Pomeranian, Kate received a message from a troll who wrote, “Her cat is dead so I guess this dog will do it,” quickly followed by, “Omg. I didn’t mean to send you that. to ignore.’
Kate shared a screenshot of the message and said: ‘Both my dads are dead so I guess my mum will, you could say too. If you really didn’t want me to see this, you could have deleted it. You chose not to do that.
“You wanted me to feel pain. I already do, in many ways. Don’t feel like you have to message me again. Please.’

Kate is mourning the death of her stepfather Roy Battersby – who died in January after suffering a ‘major stroke’ while battling two forms of cancer – and also caring for her mother Judy Loe while also battling significant health problems.
Her biological father Richard Beckinsale died in 1979 at the age of 31 of a heart attack in his sleep.
Although Kate has not revealed the reason for her hospitalization, a source claims she has AND Wednesday that Kate is “not doing well or not feeling well” but is “doing her best to take care of herself.”
In a Mother’s Day post earlier this week, Kate shared a slew of snaps of Judy hiding in a cake and enjoying champagne, as well as photos of herself in the ward and her dogs playing.
She captioned the images: ‘Happy birthday and British Mother’s Day last week to my amazing mum. Thank you to those who love us and support us when things are bad and try to make sure there are some things that aren’t.”
Kate continued, “And for taking care of our dogs when we can’t, and for helping us remember happy things when we can’t.
“And when we’re sick, come over and sit with us. And send balloons and check in and pull us out of the wells with love.
“Thank you for loving us, those who do, and for the wonderful, kindest Nick, and especially for my mother’s ability to create joy. It’s so inspiring and beautiful.

In recent months, Kate has been caring for her mother and late stepmother after flying them from Britain to stay with her in Los Angeles.
“Kate spends most of the year caring for her parents, who are both battling serious illnesses,” a source exclusively revealed to DailyMail.com late last year. “She brought them to her home in LA and made caring for them her first priority.”

On January 10, Kate announced the death of stepfather Roy, aged 87.
The insider revealed that the Snow Angels star has felt the emotional toll in recent months.
“She was seen crying in the hallways of UCLA hospital several times this week,” the source added.
‘Her friends are very concerned that she has been under constant pressure for months and barely sleeps or eats.
‘Kate seems very strong, but this has been incredibly difficult and, considering she lost her father so young, it affects her very deeply. Her friends are concerned about her own health.”
A second source explained that her mother Judy has chosen to keep her health struggles private, saying: “She is extraordinary, you wouldn’t even know it by looking at her. She has kept a very positive attitude through it all.”
Last month, Kate shared a photo of Roy’s order of service revealing that he had been cremated at Mortlake Crematorium near Kew in West London on Monday, February 19.
She also shared another look at the document with a sweet message on it, along with more photos of Roy.
It read: ‘We would like to thank you, our family and friends, for your loving support and for being with us today to honor and remember Roy.
‘Afterwards, join us to celebrate him and his life, share memories and stories and inevitably miss him, knowing how much he would enjoy such a get-together.’

Kate’s biological father Richard was best known for his roles as Lennie Godber in the BBC sitcom Porridge and Alan Moore in the ITV sitcom Rising Damp.
He also had a daughter – Samantha, 55 – who is his only child from his marriage to Margaret Bradley.
