Last week, Kate left her fans scratching their heads after she completely deleted her Instagram page containing evidence of her recent hospital stay.

Fans noticed that photos from recent weeks showing the actress in a hospital and wearing a medical gown had suddenly been deleted from her page without explanation.

She also seemed to have little comment on her posts, although the timing was unclear.

Kate has been suffering from an undisclosed illness for the past month and she has avoided responding to her followers’ questions about her condition.

“Thank you to those who love us and support us when things are bad and try to make sure there are some things that aren’t,” she captioned the post via Page six.

“And to take care of our dogs when we can’t, and to help us remember happy things when we can’t. And come by when we’re sick and sit with us… And send balloons and check in and pull us out of the wells with love.”

Although the photos highlighted her hospital stay, the post paid tribute to her actress mother Judy Loe, 77, for the holidays.

Several of Beckinsale’s fans took to the comments section with well wishes, while others inquired about how she was feeling, but she didn’t appear to have responded to any questions.

The Love & Friendship star’s subsequent messages from the hospital were more optimistic.
