Kate Beckinsale has left her fans scratching their heads in recent days after completely wiping out her Instagram page with evidence of her recent hospital stay.
Fans noticed that photos from recent weeks showing the actress in a hospital and wearing a medical gown had suddenly been deleted from her page without explanation.
She also seemed to have little comment on her posts, although the timing was unclear.
Beckinsale, 50, has been suffering from an undisclosed illness for the past month and she has avoided responding to her followers’ questions about her condition.

Beckinsale looked somber as she sat in a hospital bed wearing a dress and a huge black bow on her head.
“Thank you to those who love us and support us when things are bad and try to make sure there are some things that aren’t,” she captioned the post via Page six.

Although the photos highlighted her hospital stay, the post paid tribute to her actress mother Judy Loe, 77, for the holidays.
