Instant karma for crooks who tried to rob pharmacy as clerk turns out to be jujitsu expert and dishes out some justice!

Two crooks who tried to rob a pharmacy got instant karma when it turned out the salesman had a black belt in jiu-jitsu.

The duo planned to rob a drugstore in Balneario Camboriu, in the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina, on September 14.

But the hapless robbers were unaware that the friendly-looking clerk was actually an expert in martial arts.

As the thieves plundered the shelves, the vendor seized his chance to exact justice when they tried to flee.

CCTV footage from the store shows him hitting the first thief, a girl, to the ground with a series of blows.

He then takes her partner in crime out and puts him in a headlock.

Finally, he sits on top of the thief’s chest, pins his arms to the ground, and punches him in the head over and over until the shot is over.

Military police told local media that the male suspect had been arrested, but that his female accomplice had already fled when officers arrived.

The seller later told police that the pair had pretended to be armed and threatened to kill him if he did not hand over the money from the register.

After calming down one of the thugs, the clerk discovered that his gun was actually a piece of metal tubing.

Paramedics rushed the suspect to the hospital, where he was treated for multiple injuries. He is charged with armed robbery.

Police are currently searching for his female accomplice, who made off with around £30 in cash.
