Karl Stefanovic is out for the first time since footage surfaced of him intervening in a wild argument between his sister-in-law Jade Yarbrough and his good friend Michael Clarke.
The 48-year-old Today show host was spotted by paparazzi at Sydney airport on Thursday at 11am before his flight to Melbourne, where he will report on the Australian Open for Channel Nine.
When he arrived at the airport terminal, photographers questioned Stefanovic about his rocky friendship with Clarke, 41, but were unable to discuss the matter.

Dressed in a navy blue suit and light blue tie, Stefanovic refused to utter a word, but seemed visibly amused by the photographer’s line of questioning.
He almost laughed when the photographer suggested that he and Clarke could settle their difference in the boxing ring.

‘Can we organize a boxing match? A celebrity boxing match? he asked a smiling Stefanovic.
The Nine host had also ignored the news of their fight in the park while reading the headlines on Thursday’s Today show.
There was no mention of the leaked video, recorded while Stefanovic and Clarke were on holiday in Noosa with their respective partners on January 10, at the start of the broadcast as he and co-host Sarah Abo ran through the day’s top headlines.
However, the altercation was featured in the early news bulletin on Channel Seven’s Sunrise channel, with Edwina Bartholomew giving a detailed summary of the incident shortly after 5:30am.

Stefanovic and Clarke clashed in a park in Noosa, on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, earlier this month while on holiday with their respective partners, sisters Jasmine and Jade Yarbrough.
At the center of the dispute were allegations that Clarke hooked up with ex-boyfriend Edwards on December 17 while Jade was on vacation.
The dramatic images obtained by the daily telegraph it shows a shirtless Clarke being yelled at and slapped by his hysterical girlfriend as others in the group try to defuse the fight.

Clarke later released a statement confessing his failings, saying “I am absolutely devastated, I have put people I hold in the highest regard in this role.” My actions in the lead up to this altercation were nothing short of shameful and regrettable.
“I am devastated that by my actions I have brought women of class and integrity, and my peers, into this situation.”

Stefanovic is understood to have attempted to bring the couple together romantically several years earlier, however Yarbrough began dating someone else: surfer and charity director Andrew Leece.
However, the couple are understood to have split in early 2022, with Yarbrough casually dating Clarke before the couple cemented their new romance with a trip to Italy in July.

“He filled up and he knows he filled up and he got busted, it’s as simple as that,” a friend of the Australian cricket legend told Daily Mail Australia.
But he wants Jade back. she’s the one. But he knows he’s going to take something big to make it happen.’
His friend added that Clarke is “in a dark place emotionally” and is in close contact with his “best friend” Anthony Bell, who was also involved in the Noosa riot.
‘He’s a mess… a complete mess,’ said the friend.
