Karl Stefanovic reluctantly agrees to take his wife Jasmine to see Magic Mike, but Brooke Boney says “they should let her go alone.”
Karl Stefanovic has agreed to see a movie based on a daring male strip show with his wife Jasmine, but he doesn’t seem too thrilled about it.
The 48-year-old Today show host revealed Wednesday that he will attend tomorrow’s premiere of Magic Mike’s Last Dance, the third installment in the Magic Mike franchise starring Channing Tatum.
I just did something on behalf of all the men in Australia. I decided to take my wife out on a date tomorrow night, to the Magic Mike premiere,” she said.

Today entertainment reporter Brooke Boney said Magic Mike is the kind of movie Jasmine should watch alone or with friends, not with her husband.
‘Let her go alone,’ he insisted.
Karl implied that his wife was very interested in going either way, saying her attitude was: if you can’t beat them, join them.

“You’re a brave man, Karl,” quipped his co-host Sarah Abo.
It comes after Karl shut down his new co-host Sarah on Monday after she made a cheeky sex joke about her fondness for ‘Dick’.

He had just finished an interview with V8 Supercars owner Dick Johnson when sports reporter Alex Cullen asked him if he was a fan of motorsports.
This prompted 36-year-old Sarah to suggestively ask, “How much do you like Mr. Johnson?”
Karl tried to keep things professional by saying that Johnson “was a Queensland legend”.
Sarah later quipped, “There’s only a Dick in your eyes.”
By this stage, Karl was fed up with ‘Dick’ jokes and told his colleague that they were not appropriate for breakfast TV.
It’s Monday morning. This is too much,” she said bluntly.
