Karl Stefanovic looks relaxed as he spends the Easter break in Noosa

Karl Stefanovic cut a relaxed figure as he stepped out in Noosa on Good Friday.

Enjoying the Easter break in Queensland, the Today show host took a walk with a friend on a casual outing.

The Today show host, 48, dressed in a simple black T-shirt and pink shorts.

He went barefoot during the outing, adding only sunglasses to his dress ensemble.

Karl smiled broadly as he crossed the road with a takeaway cup of coffee.

It comes after the TV star was uncomfortably put on the spot on Thursday morning when he revealed his soon-to-be Easter holiday plans.

He turned red when he announced he was traveling to Noosa – nearly three months after footage surfaced of him and his wife Jasmine attempting to break up a fight between Michael Clarke and Jasmine’s sister Jade Yarbrough in the coastal town.

While finishing a segment with Chief Executive Officer of Tourism & Transport Margy Osmond, Karl eagerly asked if the businesswoman had any fun plans this Easter long weekend.

“Well, what are you doing for Easter?” she joked, smiling.

‘Um, heading to Noosa,’ Karl replied, to which Margy laughed and quickly added, ‘Ah, what could go wrong?’

Visibly embarrassed, the breakfast TV presenter shrugged and added, “fair point” before throwing at his co-host Sarah Abo, who was forced to cover her face with a piece of paper while hiding her giggle.

‘Oh yeah. What could go wrong, Karl?’ Sarah flinched.

On January 18, extraordinary footage emerged of a heated argument between Michael Clarke and his then-girlfriend Jade Yarbrough while they were on holiday in Noosa.

In the video, which was filmed by an onlooker on Jan. 10 and later sold to The Daily Telegraph for reportedly $10,000, Jade accused Clarke of cheating on her on Dec. 17 with his ex, fashion designer Pip Edwards.

It’s been revealed that Michael, 42, and Jade are no longer together after the incident – much less on speaking terms.

The ex-couple both unfollow each other on social media, despite the 30-year-old interior designer being spotted leaving his $13 million mansion in Vaucluse, Sydney, last month.

He was also accused of sending messages to the co-founder of activewear label PE Nation and admitting that she was the “love of his life.”

All hell broke loose after Michael, Today presenter Karl Stefanovic and his wife Jasmine, Jade’s sister, were having dinner at a beachfront restaurant in Noosa with accountant Anthony Bell.

The video opens with Jade yelling at Michael before punching him in the face and pushing him away after the cricketer insists he didn’t cheat on her.

‘I am wrong? I’m fucking wrong! You’re a goddamn liar. I can see everything. You called her,” she yelled, apparently referring to messages between Michael and Pip.

Michael then tries to reassure Jade that he didn’t seep through with Pip on December 17, saying he was with Bell that night.

“Honey, you’re wrong, you’re wrong,” he insisted. “Honey, honey, Belly was at the house. I swear on my life, I swear on my life… That’s not true, it’s not true.’

He then swore on his daughter Kelsey Lee’s life that he was not cheating on her.

But Jade refused to believe his desperate protests and claimed she had spoken to Pip.

“You’re fucking lying to me. You’re a piece of shit. I just spoke to her. What’s wrong with you?’ she heard say.

Jade was also repeatedly seen punching Michael in the face.

She yelled, “Oh am I wrong? You fucked her on December 17, you fucked her… you’re a great dog… I’m going to show her every damn message you’ve ever sent me.’

The ugly altercation unfolded in front of young children nearby, according to baffled witnesses.

A remorseful Michael has since taken full responsibility for what happened.

“I am absolutely devastated that I put people I hold in high esteem in this position. My actions leading up to this altercation were nothing short of shameful and regrettable,” he told The Daily Telegraph.

“I am devastated that by my actions I have put women of class and integrity, and my mates, in this situation.”

After the infamous brawl, Jade hid out at her parents’ house in Brisbane, before moving to a house in the Sydney beachside suburb of Tamarama.
