Karen Gillan was a beaming new mother when she was spotted for the first time since giving birth while in Los Angeles on Monday.
The Jumanji star, 37, and her husband Nick Kocher, 38, enjoyed a sunny day walk, with the actress pushing a gray stroller, after welcoming their first child together.
The proud parents stopped for a family brunch at the Mustard Seed Cafe. They were accompanied by Karen’s parents and their dog.
The Scottish beauty opted for a casual, cool look for the outing, wearing a green high-neck maxi dress paired with a denim jacket.
She completed the look with a brown wide-brimmed hat, white sneakers and sunglasses.
Meanwhile, the comedian wore a gray hoodie with dark sweatpants and sneakers.

The Inverness-born actress has not yet publicly revealed her baby’s gender or date of birth.
Last month, she showed off her long belly in a video on TikTokok as she danced along to mzbiancarenee’s song ‘Baby Mama’.
In another clip from November, she also documented the different desires she had during pregnancy.
The actress revealed she couldn’t “get enough” of eating raw vegetables.
In a video titled ‘I think it’s okay? But strange,” Gillan said, “Does anyone else have this same pregnancy craving for just raw vegetables?”
The star, who then took a large bite out of what appeared to be a peeled pumpkin, declared: “I just can’t get enough.”
In another video posted to TikTok last month, Gillan discussed another new culinary obsession: quiche.
In the clip, posted to her 2.2 million followers, the star said: ‘So new pregnancy craving – quiche.

As well as raw veggies and quiche, Gillan has also spoken publicly about her reduced need for niche products, sharing that digestive biscuits are now ‘all I can think about’, despite not having the popular snack at any point in her ‘entire life’ never found it tasty. .
The star, known for her role as Amy Pond, a companion to the Eleventh Doctor in the hit science fiction television series Doctor Who, debuted her baby bump on the red carpet at the premiere of The Life of Chuck in Canada in September.

In 2018, Gillan revealed her desire to eventually have children.
Appearing on Michael Rosenbaum’s Inside of You podcast, she said, “I definitely want them, it’s going to be hilarious.” I think I would be a good mother. I feel like I would definitely be good at playing with the kids, like if I were one of them.”

Gillan, considered one of Scotland’s biggest Hollywood stars, has 7.7 million followers on Instagram and was named the third highest-grossing star at the box office in 2019, behind Dwayne Johnson and Samuel L Jackson.
She moved to California in 2013, where she currently lives with her husband, but has spoken publicly about how she still considers Inverness her home and hopes to return later in life.
Speaking on the Radio Times Podcast in June, Gillan said: ‘I’m homesick every day of my life.
‘I think there’s a possibility that I might come back one day. I made my house look very Scottish; it doesn’t feel like I’m in LA at all. It reminds me of a grandmother’s house in Scotland, and that’s what I am in my soul.”
