Kanye West sports Halloween-style hockey mask on stage with daughter North, 10, as she is named as one of the youngest Billboard stars ever amid claims he couldn’t get a gig for a year

Kanye West was joined on stage by his daughter North on stage in Paris on Sunday night after she was named one of the youngest-ever Billboard Hot 100 stars.

Kanye and Kim Kardashian’s daughter, 10, earned her first chart entry last week after being featured on her rapper dad’s new song, Talking/Once Again.

The song is one of several tracks on Kanye’s new album Vultures 1, a joint project with Ty Dolla $ign and comes after the artist claimed he ‘couldn’t book a gig for a year’ following a series of bizarre anti-Semitic statements. ranting.

The father-daughter duo put on an electrifying performance as they performed their song at the Accor Arena in the French capital at the start of the city’s Fashion Week.

Kanye was typically bizarrely dressed in a black hockey-style Halloween mask, which he wore with a leather jacket and matching pants.

Meanwhile, North wore a fur hat with a loose bomber jacket, a graphic T-shirt, trousers and chunky boots.

North’s mother Kim was her biggest fan earlier this week as she touted her new achievement: becoming one of the youngest music artists to ever chart on Billboard’s Hot 100.

Kim, 43, reshared a tweet from Chart Data that read, “North West earns its first-ever entry into the Hot 100 this week with TALKING. At the age of 10, she becomes one of the youngest artists to ever hit the charts.”

Kim wrote on her story: ‘My baby!.

Earlier this month, the YZY designer debuted the music video for the single TALKING / ONCE AGAIN, which featured North.

At the top of the song she sings: ‘It’s your bestie. Ma’am, Mrs. Westie. Don’t try to test me. It gets messy. It gets messy. Just bless me! Bless me!’

Fans have gone wild for the rising young star, whose cameo on the project was first revealed at an album listening party in Miami last December.

At the time, she joined her father and Ty Dolla $ign, 41, on stage to sing and dance along to her verse.

While North’s star is only rising, Kanye admitted that he was struggling commercially and had not been able to book a gig for a year.

Kanye opened up about having trouble booking concert arenas, seemingly suggesting it was because of his anti-Semitic rants on social media.

He shared a video and text message earlier this month in which he revealed he’s having trouble booking venues, adding emphatically, “And you know why that is.”

Kanye – who was recently called a “very charming anti-Semite” by Bill Maher – also appeared to compare his fate to that of rock ‘n’ roll legend Elvis Presley.

Kanye said the only arena he’s been able to book is United Center in his hometown of Chicago, weeks before performing with North in Paris.

“We just sold out the United Center in seven minutes, and I want to tell everyone out there to see if there’s anyone out there that can help with this. It’s the only arena I’ve had access to for the past year,” he said.

“And when I call people say it doesn’t do anything for me and you know why that is,” he added, seemingly inferring that business owners have blacklisted him for his views.

“So if there’s anyone out there who can help with this, please do,” Kanye implored his followers.

He then shared a text message that read: “I haven’t gotten to perform in a year, it feels like the Elvis Presley movie.”

It’s unclear how Kanye compares his situation to Elvis’s, though he may be alluding to the King of Rock and Roll being censored, banned from shows and threatened with jail time for his provocative performances.

He has been away from the music scene for a while, with his latest studio album Donda released in 2021.

Kanye apologized in December for his several anti-Semitic outbursts, even expressing support for Adolf Hitler, which led to him losing a series of lucrative endorsement deals and being dropped by his talent agency.

‘I am determined to start with myself and learn from this experience to ensure greater sensitivity and understanding in the future. Your forgiveness is important to me, and I am committed to making amends and promoting unity.”

Kanye was accused of going on another anti-Semitic tirade at an event in Vegas, as well as being accused of using similar language in his latest song, Vultures.

Kanye told a crowd claiming that “all the rich motherfuckers” in the room have their kids in “Zionist schools” and that daughter North, 10, had destroyed couches in her house so she could join him on tour.

Just days before that unhinged tirade, West was branded a “disgusting human being” by some fans after wearing a KKK-style hood in Miami.

Vultures contains the ‘offensive’ text: ‘How am I anti-Semitic? I just fucked a Jewish motherfucker.”

In 2022, West made anti-Semitic comments in interviews and on social media, including an October Twitter post in which he said he would soon go “death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE,” an apparent reference to the U.S. defense readiness scale known as DEFCON. .

He had previously suggested slavery was a choice, calling the COVID-19 vaccine the “mark of the beast,” among other things.

He was also criticized for wearing a ‘White Lives Matter’ T-shirt at Paris Fashion Week and featuring models in the same design.
