Kanye West should be denied entry to Australia says Peter Dutton

Former Home Secretary Peter Dutton has called for the artist, formerly known as Kanye West, to be banned from entering Australia ahead of his anticipated trip.

Ye, as he is now known, married 27-year-old Australian woman Bianca Censori in a non-binding ceremony earlier this month in Utah and is rumored to travel to Melbourne next week to meet his family.

The local Jewish community is already demanding that the Albanian government revoke any potential visa applications after the rapper’s series of very public anti-Semitic and pro-Nazi tirades in recent months.

Ye, as West (pictured) is passing by now, it’s rumored that he’s taking a trip to Australia to meet his Melbourne-based family.

While there has been speculation about the trip, neither Ye nor the Australian government have confirmed it is taking place and Immigration Minister Andrew Giles said he would not comment publicly on individual travel requests.

“All non-citizens must meet and continue to meet the requirements set out in the Migration Act, including security and character requirements,” a Giles spokesperson said in a statement.

In an interview on 3AW radio on Tuesday, Federal Opposition Leader Peter Dutton said Ye’s comments were “disgraceful”, that “his conduct and behavior are appalling” and that he is “not a person of good character”.

Dutton, who was also Defense Minister in Scott Morrison’s government, is a staunch Conservative who leads the National Right faction of the Liberal Party.

“I have to say my inclination would be to not let him in,” he said.

“The minister has a lot to weigh, but I have to say my gut feeling would be if I was the one making the decisions, I think there are better people we could welcome.”

Federal opposition leader and former Home Secretary Peter Dutton (pictured) said he would not let West into the country if the decision was up to him after the rapper’s repeated anti-Jewish comments.

West made increasingly anti-Jewish comments in interviews and on social media throughout 2022.

He publicly claimed that “Jewish Zionists” were posting negative stories about him in the media and was blocked on Instagram after insisting that rapper Sean Combs, or Diddy, was being “controlled by Jews.”

On Twitter, he said he would soon do ‘death with 3 against the Jewish people’ in reference to the US military’s DEFCON alert ratings and was suspended from that platform after he tweeted an image of a Nazi swastika entwined with a Star of David. bean.

In an October 16 interview, he stated that “the black voice has been appropriated by Jews” and that “the Jewish community, especially in the music industry…will take us and milk us to death.”

Ye has also appeared on a podcast with notorious far-right conspiracy theorist Alex Jones and on his television show ‘InfoWars’, where he spoke at length about his favorable view of the Nazis and that he ‘loves Hitler’.

His partnerships with a number of high-profile companies including Vogue, CAA, Balenciaga, Gap, and Adidas subsequently broke down, costing him, by some estimates, more than $1 billion.

Some have raised concerns about Ye’s mental health after his erratic behavior, with the 22-time Grammy Award winner previously revealing that he has bipolar disorder.

Others, dating back to her days when she regularly appeared alongside Donald Trump, have even questioned whether the behavior was some kind of elaborate piece of full-length performance art.

“I see good things about Hitler…every human being has something of value that they brought to the table, especially Hitler,” West (pictured) said in an interview with Alex Jones.

The co-chief executive of the Executive Council of Australian Jews, Peter Wertheim, wrote to the Immigration Minister asking him not to allow her to enter the country because it would incite racism.

“Unfortunately, due to his status as a celebrated musician, West has the ability to exert enormous influence on young people,” he wrote.

“There is a significant risk that it will vilify a segment of the Australian community (the Australian Jewish community and First Nations Australians) or incite discord… (i.e. those who are hostile to Jews and/or First Nations Australians)”.

Dvir Abramovich of the Anti-Defamation Commission was more forceful, calling Ye an “unrepentant Holocaust denier, who likes to hang out with white supremacists, who has issued death threats against the Jewish community, who says he loves Nazis and admires Hitler”.

“This type of rhetoric is dangerous and has real world consequences given the 30+ million followers this person has, and they may start to believe that they are demonizing the Jewish community and that they need to act,” he said.

West has not officially confirmed his new marriage to Censori, who says on her LinkedIn page that she met the rapper at least two years ago when she took a job as an architectural designer at West’s Yeezy business.

Prior to that, she worked as a trainee architect at DP Toscano Architects, a firm in Collingwood, Melbourne’s city centre, and ran her own jewelery brand.

West and Kim Kardashian (pictured) divorced in 2022 and have joint custody of their four children

West and ex-wife Kim Kardashian finally settled their divorce in November, but even if they hadn’t, it wouldn’t have affected his “marriage” to Censori, since it wasn’t binding.

During their highly publicized legal battle, the rapper attempted to oppose Kardashian’s efforts to be declared legally single, but a judge granted his request in March 2022.

After spending nearly two years fighting in court, the exes reached an agreement over custody of their four children, parenting plans and the division of their multi-million dollar real estate portfolio.

The settlement awarded Kardashian $200,000 in monthly child support, and the two have joint custody and “equal access” to their four children.
