Kanye West has said he is open to a return to politics and emphasized that he had not been deterred by his failed 2020 presidential bid.

When asked if he had any future political aspirations, he replied, “Yes, absolutely.

“You know, that time was not in God’s time. I’m sure lives have been saved.

“I’m sure God has let me fall in the sword and say this is not the time,” he told ABC News on Thursday evening.

“But he is a savior. He’s given me this oxygen, he’s given me this platform, he’s put great people around me.

“He has given me new goals. A new lease of life. New air to breathe. And a new respect.’

He added that he spent time with Jared Kushner.
