Kanye West Makes First Appearance Since His Vile Anti-Semitism Scandal As He Takes The Stage With Travis Scott In Rome

Kanye West has made his first public appearance since his vile anti-Semitism scandal last year.

The controversial rapper, 46, performed with Travis Scott on Monday at the Sicko Mode rapper’s Utopia concert in Rome.

“Only one human being on this mother-fucking planet who has ever walked side-by-side with me through anything and everything mother-fucking,” said Scott, 32, before bringing West on stage, according to TMZ.

According to PitchforkScott, 32, also told the audience, “There is no Utopia without Kanye West. There is no Travis Scott without Kanye West. There is no Rome without Kanye West. Make some noise for Ye.”

The outlets reported that the duo performed the songs Praise God and Can’t Tell Me Nothing.

Ye was banned from Twitter last year, denounced by celebrities and lost a string of lucrative sponsorship deals after making several anti-Semitic statements.

Gap, Balenciaga, his representatives at CAA, Foot Locker and Adidas all cut ties with him.

However, demand for some of its Yeezy products has remained stable.

Adidas reported that it had more than $425 million worth of inventory between April and June of this year, according to Adidas. BBC news.

A portion of the proceeds would go to charities that fight hate, such as the Foundation to Combat Anti-Semitism and the Anti-Defamation League.

Adidas reported that it had approximately $1.3 billion worth of Yeezy stock in storage after the company’s relationship with Kanye ended.

A shoemaker executive argued that it was better to sell the inventory than to destroy it.

Scott is also no stranger to controversy.

In 2021, 10 concertgoers were crushed to death and thousands injured when the rapper performed at his Astroworld music festival.

A grand jury declined to recommend any charges in June in the incident that killed 10 people and injured hundreds more.

He continues to face lawsuits from the families of those who died, as well as dozens of others from those injured. Several families of the victims have since settled with Scott.
