Kanye West ‘invades strangers wedding in Florence and poses for photos’ with elated American couple
- The man, presumably West, shook hands with the radiant bride and groom
- He is seen dressed in West’s typical all-black outfit that he wore in Italy
Kanye West crashed a random couple’s wedding in Italy last weekend, much to the delight of the bride and groom, the video shows.
West and his ‘wife’ Bianca Censori have caused a stir in the country in recent weeks after a series of controversial public appearances, including being caught with his buttocks exposed and his wife’s head on his lap during a boat trip in Venice.
But this time, his public antics seem less likely to cause an upset as he was spotted in a TikTok video greeting the happy couple and taking pictures with them. “Imagine getting your picture taken (with) Kanye West at your Italian wedding,” the video’s caption reads.
The footage, which went viral over the weekend, was captured at a church in Florence and shows the beaming bride and groom shaking hands and chatting with a man believed to be from the West as camera flashes go off.
“In Atlanta, we live just above Grant Park,” the groom is heard to say to him. The man believed to be West is clad in the rapper’s signature all-black uniform, which covers most of his body and face, meaning his face isn’t actually seen in the clip.

It wasn’t clear what prompted him to show up at the wedding, or exactly when or where the video was shot in Florence.
The controversial rapper is no stranger to surprising people at weddings. In 2016, he jumped on the mic at nightlife mogul Dave Grutman’s ceremony in Miami and referenced his infamous Taylor Swift incident at the 2009 VMAs.
“I’ll let you finish,” Kanye said at the wedding. “But Dave and Isabela had one of the greatest weddings of all time!”
The video came out a day after MailOnline revealed that West and Censori are being investigated by police after being caught in a compromising position in Venice.
The couple sparked controversy last week in the romantic city of Venice when West exposed his bare buttocks while sitting on a boat and Bianca was seen kneeling in front of him.
In other footage, the American rapper, 46, was seen in the back of a river taxi, while Australian Bianca, 28, nestled her head in his lap.
The company that operates the boat has since banned the couple over the “obscene” incident, and police are not expected to investigate.
West is expected to be questioned in the coming days about exactly what he saw on the boat and police are also asking photographers to hand over the footage that has been shared around the world.
A source at the Venice police said: ‘There are standards of public decency that must be adhered to by tourists and locals alike and any violation will be severely punished.
The footage of West with his pants down crossing the lagoon in a taxi with his partner was seen around the world.

Before boarding the boat, West was covered head-to-toe in an all-black ensemble, while Censori wore a knee-length trench coat that she paired with a pair of nude heels.
The couple have made headlines for their odd clothing choices, with critics taking aim at Censori for “walking around virtually naked” in the conservative Catholic country.
“You could clearly see his pants were half down and we’ve received complaints from people who witnessed it. Now we have identified the driver of the boat and we are also going to ask him what he saw.
‘The images clearly show that the couple is in a state of intimacy. If the local prosecutor decides to press charges, we will notify the couple, most likely through the appropriate embassies.
‘The investigated fact concerns acts that are contrary to good morals and for which an administrative sanction is imposed.’
Venetian officials have also expressed outrage – not surprising given that the city issues fines for offenses such as swimming in the canals, picnicking in the open air and sprawling on the steps of public buildings.
