Kanye West doubled down on his anti-Semitic claim that Jews control the media and Hollywood last night when he pulled out a spreadsheet he said contains the names of Jewish executives who help run top media brands.
West, who now passes by Ye, had a lengthy conversation with photographers Friday night, pointing his phone at the cameras to show onlookers just how many Jews are currently in positions of power in the media field.
Their names were not visible, so it was impossible to verify West’s claims. He cited companies including Disney, Paramount, USA Today and the Los Angeles Times as companies with Jewish employees working at their highest levels.
Claims of powerful Jews controlling industries is a common anti-Semitic trope that has long been used to foment prejudice against Jewish people.
Speaking to the press on Friday, West said he hadn’t realized before that it was anti-Semitic to find that many of the business associates he works with and employs are Jewish.
“I didn’t realize it was anti-Semitic to say ‘hey you know, I have a Jewish lawyer, I have a Jewish record label, I have a Jewish contractor,'” he said after reading a definition of the term anti-Semitism.
When asked if he should reverse some of his comments, he pulled out the list of executives and began reading out the names of companies where Jewish executives work.
“The red ones are the executives who are Jewish at these companies,” he said of the list where most of the names are marked in red.
West showed reporters and cameramen on Friday a list of Jewish executives at top media companies who, according to the rapper, are now targeting him.
The companies, which include most of the world’s top media brands and Hollywood studios, were mostly made up of names in red — individuals West believes are Jewish.
He told the press that he “has had experiences (with Jewish executives) where I felt like I was working together.”
He added that his de facto blackballing of the industry in the wake of his ongoing comments “actually proves what I had to say” — meaning Jewish executives made the decision to ban him from engaging in certain types of business and thus have no influence.
West did not apologize when he made his comments, but did say he was “humiliated.” The anger at his comments has cost him an estimated $1 billion in business deals, including his highly successful Yeezy clothing line sold by Adidas.
Last week, Hollywood superagent Ari Emmanuel – who is Jewish – wrote a letter to members of his industry, encouraging them to distance themselves from West and stop doing business with him.
Later in the conversation, West said he believes God humbled him because he often bragged about his wealth — much of which he lost to suspended brand deals.
He added that years ago, when he was hospitalized for his mental health, a Jewish doctor misdiagnosed bipolar disorder, leaked his hospital presence to the press and tried to control him. with medicines.
West has the famous refusal to take mood-stabilizing drugs, despite his diagnosis.
He said that if a doctor mixed up a pill from him, he could end up like Prince — who died of an accidental fentanyl overdose — or Michael Jackson — who died of anesthetic poisoning.

A host of high-profile brands have dropped Ye in recent days and weeks amid ongoing controversy over his social media posts and diatribes.
Earlier this week, Ye continued to defend his anti-Semitic stance in a two-hour, 26-minute interview with podcast host Lex Fridman, a Russian-American computer scientist who is also Jewish.
You blamed Jewish people for his mental health problems and claimed that Jews “control the media.”
He said to Fridman, “We are still in the Holocaust. A Jewish friend of mine said, “Go to the Holocaust Museum,” and my response was, Let’s visit our Holocaust Museum: Planned Parenthood.
Fifty percent today of . . . the death of black people today is abortion.
‘It’s not racism; that’s too broad a term. It’s genocide and population control that black people are doing in America today, promoted by the music and media that black people make, paying off Jewish record labels.”
Fridman challenged Ye on his claim of Jewish control over media and industry.
“I grew up in the Soviet Union,” Fridman said.
‘I am Jewish, parts of my family perished in the Holocaust of Nazi Germany, I have to push back. Saying ‘Jewish media’ echoes the pain people feel.’
The rapper replied, “You say it’s redundant. If Jewish people accepted that I am a Jew, they would hear it in a different way.”
Fridman said, “It is correct not to say that there is Jewish control over the media.”
You yelled, ‘That’s wrong, though! That is a lie. There is. And they came to bully me and proved the point.’
He claimed that his own mental disorder was the result of a Jewish conspiracy.
‘There was a Jewish trainer who took me to the hospital and in [the] press that I was going to the hospital. A Jewish doctor who diagnosed me.’
Fridman replied, “Why do you keep saying Jewish?”
You said, ‘Because they were. He diagnosed me with bipolar disorder and shot me with medication. Then put it in the press.’
