The Kansas City Chiefs posted a quote from Travis Kelce’s speech after the team won the Super Bowl earlier this year in honor of their tight end, who celebrates his 35th birthday on Saturday.
Kelce was one of the central figures of the February extravaganza due to his relationship with Taylor Swift.
The three-time Super Bowl champion has also never been shy about sharing his opinions, with this particular opinion becoming iconic on the Allegiant Stadium stage.
‘You don’t have to fight for your right to party today. HBD, @killatrav!’ the Chiefs said on Instagram.
Kelce’s quote itself is a shoutout to the Beastie Boys song “Fight for Your Right,” with the tight end shouting into the microphone.

Kansas City quoted Kelce’s iconic speech after they won the Super Bowl earlier this year
Kelce said the line just after a reunion with Swift, who had hastily flown in from Japan after a block of shows on her “Eras Tour” to watch the match in person.
Swift has attended 15 Chiefs games since her relationship with Kelce began last September, with Kansas City having a 12-3 record in those games. That includes a 2-0 score this season.
Swift could be at Monday’s game against the Saints, with Travis’ older brother, Jason Kelce, scheduled to attend ESPN for the first time since retiring from football himself.
Swift attended all four of the Chiefs’ playoff games last season, all of which took place in different cities.
Monday’s game will take place in Kansas City, the location for Swift’s previous in-person viewings of Chiefs games this season.
Whether Kelce will have his girlfriend in the crowd for his first match as a 35-year-old is unknown.
