Kansas City Chiefs survive scare to secure dramatic last-gasp win over Carolina Panthers

The Kansas City Chiefs survived a dramatic comeback from the Carolina Panthers to bounce back from last week’s loss to the Buffalo Bills.

The back-to-back Super Bowl champions led by 14 points just before halftime on Sunday before Bryce Young led the 3-8 Panthers to 18 points in the second half.

After Chuba Hubbard tied the game with a one-yard touchdown run – and two-point conversion – the Chiefs had 1:46 to win the game.

Patrick Mahomes led Kansas City down the field with a 33-yard scramble that took Travis Kelce and Co. deep into Carolina territory.

The Chiefs got to the Panthers’ 13-yard line before giving backup kicker Spencer Shrader a chance to seal the victory.

With two seconds on the clock, the 25-year-old made no mistake from 31 meters. The win means the Chiefs are now 10-1 on the season.
