Kansas City Chiefs heiress Ava Hunt has officially moved into her dorm room at Southern Methodist University (SMU). She’s completely transformed her room into a gorgeous bedroom filled to the brim with fun décor, neon lights, and plush furnishings.
Dorm rooms have a reputation for being small, cramped and boring, but Chiefs billionaire Clark Hunt’s owner’s 18-year-old daughter Ava has transformed her dorms into a pink paradise, complete with lavish decor and floral accents.
Her 53-year-old mother, former beauty queen Tavia Hunt, shared a glimpse inside the lavish dorm room via Instagram on Thursday.
She uploaded a series of photos of her daughter posing in her new home, while sharing a heartwarming message to the teen in honor of her leaving for college in Texas.
In one photo, the mother-daughter duo were seen embracing in the dorm room, while in another photo, Ava stood alone next to the stylish decorations.

Ava’s dorm room featured a silver and white vanity with a pink chair, a nightstand, and shelves.
On the dressing table stood a shiny lamp and a mirror with small lights around the edge.
Ava also decorated her bedside table with a bouquet of pink roses and two lamps for her and her roommate, who is also named Ava.
The ladies also had matching pink floral bedspreads and stools to help them get up.
The walls were adorned with chic paintings of the beach, mountains and a horse, and neon signs above their beds displayed the women’s first and middle names.
“Today I left a piece of my heart at SMU. Ava Hunt, you have always been a mix of sunshine and hurricane – fierce, fearless, and capable of incredible things,” Tavia raved in the caption.

While Ava has followed in her mother’s footsteps and entered the world of pageants — in 2021 she competed in the Texas Outstanding Teen Pageant — it seems her biggest passion is cheerleading.
In 2020, she placed first at the cheerleading State Championships. And last year, she was chosen as her school’s varsity cheer captain.
And she hopes to represent the Chiefs when she’s older. In 2021, she shared a photo of herself jumping in the air during the Chiefs cheerleading auditions, captioning it, “I actually didn’t audition for Chiefs cheer… But maybe someday!”
