Touching moment beekeepers save a helpless kangaroo trapped in a wire fence
The powerful moment workers helped save a trapped kangaroo has been caught on camera.
Alvin, Godfrey, Romolo and Noel found the marsupial trapped in a fence just outside Pinnaroo, South Australia.
The beekeepers sprang into action and began to part the fence to free the tail and legs of the distressed animal.
Footage shows two men holding the fence apart while another helped the kangaroo.

Once the kangaroo was able to stand on its own two feet, the animal took one look at its rescuers and jumped away.
After saying goodbye, the men could be heard cheering, clearly happy with their efforts.
Denise Kyriazis, who knows the men, was not surprised they saved the kangaroo.
“(They are) such genuinely nice guys, hardworking, always happy,” she said The advertiser.
‘They are all professional beekeepers… their job is to maintain beehives in South Australia, New South Wales and Victoria.
‘They work long hours in sometimes difficult conditions.’
