Vice President Kamala Harris says she thinks President Joe Biden is the funniest member of the administration’s Cabinet, and revealed other aspects of her first years as vice president in a podcast interview.
“Well, I mean, the person I definitely have the most fun with is the president, he’s fantastic,” Harris said when asked who she had the most fun with in government.
Kamala Harris Talks to the Hosts of the ‘I’ve Had It’ Podcast
Harris said President Joe Biden has “an incredible sense of humor.”
She spoke warmly about her relationship with the president, even as it became increasingly limited during their first few years in office.
“Obviously he can be very serious, but he also has an incredible sense of humor,” she said. ‘You have to find humor in life if you really want to get through it and stay healthy. And so there are times when we just find the humor in a moment when others might not otherwise be able to see it. It’s just important not to take yourself too seriously when everything is so serious.’
Harris recorded an interview in Washington, D.C., with the podcast “I’ve Had It,” hosted by former Bravo TV stars Jennifer Welch and Angie “Pumps” Sullivan.

In the show, the presenters and their guests talk about serious and trivial things that they have ‘had enough of’.
Predictably, Harris agreed with the hosts that they “had it” with former President Donald Trump, abortion restrictions and people taking their shoes off airplanes.
But she had nothing but love for Beyoncé and her new country album.
“Her new album, I love that she’s doing it, again, how great is that to just really fully own and dive into your range, right?” she asked. “And to never feel like you have to limit yourself to other people’s perspectives on what your path is, and instead just go for it. I love that.’

Harris claimed that most of the music produced by singer/songwriter Ray Charles was country music, recalling the time she listened to it with her mother.
“I’m pretty sure most of his work was country. Yes. He actually was, I think the majority of his songs, in terms of writing and performance, were country music,” she said.
Charles produced more than 60 albums and alone seven of them feature country music.
In a surprise to the hosts, the vice president defended “group texting,” complaining that she could no longer text with members of her family due to security concerns.
“Here’s my sad little complaint, and I’m going to play the violin, I can’t text anymore,” she said. ‘I have all kinds of things on my phone that prevent this for security reasons. I always loved our family group texts. Like when Wordle first came out. Did you understand the word? It was just so good.’
Harris admitted that both she and her husband usually spent too long deciding what to watch on Netflix before they got tired and were ready for bed.
“We’ll sit on the couch in front of the TV with the switcher, spend about 45 minutes debating which Netflix show to stream, and we’ll weigh the pros and cons of each program, and by the time we’re done, we’re ready to go to bed,’ she said.

She said she enjoyed “The Morning Show” on Apple TV and “Only Murders in the Building” on Hulu.
On more serious topics, she again warned that Donald Trump was a threat to democracy, accusing him of outright racism.
“There’s no whispering, there’s no dog whistle, it’s like a giant bark,” she said.
boasted that as the first female vice president, she could talk about things that male vice presidents wouldn’t discuss.
“I’m sure I’m the first vice president to use the word ‘uterus’ in front of the press, and then I didn’t stop there either, I said the f-word, I said fibroids,” she said, laughing. “I’m pretty sure we could do a fact check, but I’m pretty sure no other vice president has done that publicly.”
