Vice President Kamala Harris says Donald Trump’s litmus test for a running mate in the 2024 election is someone who shows absolute loyalty to the former president.

“I plan to go to the CBS studios in July or August,” the vice president said. “And let’s see if the other side shows itself.”

Speaking about Trump’s potential to pick Rep. Donalds as his vice president, Harris cited the congressman’s comments last week at a campaign event in Philadelphia, claiming that black families in America were stronger during the Jim Crow era era.

“It’s unfortunately yet another example of someone from Florida trying to erase or rewrite our true history,” she said, referring to Donald’s recent comments and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ interventions on Black history curricula.

“Last July I went to Florida to talk about what they were trying to do to replace our history with lies. And apparently from that state comes a never-ending stream of things like that,” she continued.
