Kamala Harris reveals reactions to ‘most Googled’ questions about her personal life… and why she disagrees with Taylor Swift on a key issue

Vice President Kamala Harris answered questions about her life, childhood and laughs in a new video interview.

The vice president responded to some of the most Googled questions about her in a video for Wired Magazine released Thursday.

She discussed her stepchildren and her reaction to superstar singer Taylor Swift’s endorsement of her campaign last week following the debate with former President Donald Trump.

When asked about Swift’s much-needed support, Harris said she was very grateful for it, but pointed out that there were differences of opinion about which soccer team they cheered for.

Harris also answered a question about her “laugh,” which has become meme fodder for online mockery

“I’m very proud of Taylor Swift’s support. She’s an incredible artist, I really respect the courage she’s had in her career to stand up for what she thinks is right,” she said.

However, Harris indicated that she is a fan of the San Francisco 49ers, the team that lost the 2023 Super Bowl to the Kansas City Chiefs.

“I’m a 49ers fan, but who’s mad at someone who’s loyal to their team?” she asked innocently.

Swift, of course, is rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs, her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s team.

Harris also answered a question about her “laugh,” which has since become fodder for online ridicule.

“I love to laugh,” she replied. “It’s really important to be able to laugh at yourself, to laugh with people, and of course there are moments that require serious consideration and serious approaches, but I hope everyone has a moment to laugh every now and then.”

Haris also answered the question of whether she had children, referring to her stepchildren Cole and Ella.

“I have two, Cole and Ella became my cherished children,” she said. “I love those children dearly. They are my children and I am very proud of them.”

Shortly after Tuesday night’s debate, Swift posted on Instagram that she would be voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 election.

“I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes that I believe need a warrior to defend. I think she’s a determined, talented leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos,” Swift wrote.

She also praised Harris for choosing Walz as her running mate, praising him “who has spent decades advocating for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF and women’s right to their own bodies.”

She said she had done her research and made her choice and encouraged her legions of supporters to do their own research. She also shared a link for people to register to vote.

Swift captioned the post, “Childless Cat Lady,” in a dig at Trump’s running mate JD Vance.

More than 400,000 people followed the link on her Instagram, which within 24 hours provided information on how to register to vote.

While Harris has not yet indicated her support for Swift during the campaign, her running mate Tim Walz has praised her “fellow cat owner” Swift several times on the street since the endorsement.

He also recently called Trump “the shortest man who ever lived,” referencing a Swift song.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump posted on Truth Social on Sunday: ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!’
