Kamala Harris reveals her thoughts on Trump’s search for a running mate

Vice President Kamala Harris says Donald Trump’s litmus test for a running mate in the 2024 election is someone who shows absolute loyalty to the former president. While nearly a dozen Republican politicians remain in the closely watched Republican veepstakes, Harris only named Rep. Byron Donalds (R-Fla.).
In an interview with Politico Playbook published Monday, she also made clear that she is willing to debate Trump’s VP pick this summer. “I plan to go to the CBS studios in July or August,” the vice president said. “And let’s see if the other side shows.”
She added: “I’m ready to make the case – whoever he chooses, no matter who it is.” CBS News suggested a debate for the vice presidential candidates on July 23 or August 13. Trump accepted an invitation from Fox News for a debate on behalf of his yet-to-be-announced running mate, which competes with the CBS proposal.

And apparently from that state comes a never-ending stream of things like that,” she continued.
