Vice President Kamala Harris took a not-so-subtle swipe at newly elected President Donald Trump by pulling him and his wife Melania Trump from her Jimmy Carter funeral post.
In an effort that her fans called “the best photo cut of the decade,” Harris, 60, chose a photo that fell just short of capturing Trump, 78, at Carter’s funeral Thursday in Washington, DC.
“President Jimmy Carter loved our country. He lived his faith, served the people and left the world better than he found it,” she further wrote Instagram. “President Carter’s many contributions will reverberate for generations.”
The photo ended with former President Barack Obama, who sat next to Trump at the event and with whom he appeared to be chatting amiably before the service.
However, the president-elect wasn’t completely missing from the Instagram photo.
In the photo Harris posted, you can see Trump’s hand peeking over a stone column.
It appears that the stone pillar may have served as an obstacle for photographers The Carter Center also posted a photo showing Trump alone on his knee.
Trump has not publicly responded to Carter’s services on his various social media pages, nor to his former presidential rival’s apparent criticism.
Several Harris followers couldn’t resist reporting the apparent dig, with one writing, “This harvest is legendary.”
In a move her fans called “the best photo cut of the decade,” it appears Harris, 60, purposely chose a photo that was out of frame when Trump was in frame with the presidential lineup at Carter’s funeral on Thursday in Washington, DC

Another theorized, “Whoever brought him to the end really knew what he was doing.”
Carter’s funeral was full of icy moments among the group of politicians.
His service was intended as a celebration of the former president’s life, a time to put aside political differences and come together to remember a great man.
But that was apparently too much to ask of America’s former heads of state.
For while Carter, who died Dec. 29 at the age of 100, was known as a gentle soul who brought warring factions together, there seemed to be little unity in the pews.
The service, held Thursday morning at the National Cathedral in Washington, marked the first time all five living presidents and their spouses — minus Michelle Obama — have been together since Donald Trump won a second term in the White House.
As each presidential couple entered the ship, they took their seats in the second row and thanked the other mourners who had arrived before them. Or at least that was what they were supposed to do.
Trump, who is chronically online, has not publicly commented on Carter’s services or his former presidential rival’s apparent criticism on his various social media pages
Obama took a seat next to Trump and the pair immediately began what seemed like a very friendly conversation. Trump was so focused on their jokes that he completely turned his back on Melania and left her alone at the end of the line
Trump was the first former CEO to enter the church, flanked by Melania.
She wore a Valentino dress with two lovers kissing on the collar.
Her fans speculate that it was a print of the statue ‘The Kiss’ that was originally conceived to accompany a larger sculpture titled: ‘The Gates of Hell.’
“How fitting to wear in a room full of traitors,” one of her fans wrote.
Meanwhile, Trump — who was wearing a black suit and blue tie — stopped to talk to his former Vice President Mike Pence and his wife Karen, who quickly jumped on her show as soon as she saw Trump approaching.
Obama arrived next and received a warmer response from Gore and Pence.
After saying hello, Obama took a seat next to Trump and the pair immediately struck up what appeared to be a very friendly conversation. Trump was so focused on their jokes that he completely turned his back on Melania and left her alone at the end of the line.
President George W. Bush strolled in casually with Laura, looking less like he had arrived at a state funeral and more like he had just had a long lunch.
He walked right past Trump without showing even a hint of recognition and was clumsily scored by Obama by tapping him on the stomach.
When Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, arrived, they slid into their front-row seats without any politeness.
Harris later sighed when he saw Obama and Trump talking.
Last up were President Joe Biden and the First Lady, Jill Biden. No one stood up to greet them either, but the icy look Jill and Kamala exchanged may have won the hotly contested award for most icy stare of the day.
