Kamala Harris doesn’t rule out leaving the country if Trump wins during Howard Stern interview
Vice President Kamala Harris did not rule out leaving the country if former President Donald Trump won the election next month.
Radio great Howard Stern asked the Democratic candidate the question during their sit-down in New York on Tuesday.
“If he wins, God forbid, would you feel safe in this country? Would you stay in this country?’ Stern asked Harris.
Trump has historically threatened to jail his political opponents.
“Howard, I’m doing everything I can to make sure he doesn’t win,” Harris replied.

Stern was not satisfied with that answer.
“Well, what if he does? How can you be safe? He says, I’m just going to do what I want this time, I know what to do,” the SiriusXM host said.
The Trump War Room Twitter account highlighted the exchange, posting it to X with a crying emoji.
Other Trump-supporting X-accounts reacted joyfully to the idea of Harris leaving the United States because of a Trump victory.
In her response to Stern, Harris pointed to the large number of Republican national security officials who have joined her campaign because they believe Trump represents a danger.
“We’re building a coalition of people who are Republicans, independents, Democrats, libertarians, all Americans, coming together to say, you know what, this election is about putting country before party,” the Democratic nominee said.
“This is about the question: Do we want a president who will uphold the oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States, or one who will spend his full time flattering Russia’s Vladimir Putin and sending COVID tests on him, while Americans are dying every day,” Harris continued.
She was referring to stunning allegations about Trump in Bob Woodward’s upcoming book that the Republican president sent Russian President Vladimir Putin a secret supply of Abbott COVID testing machines “for his personal use” during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Stern asked Harris about that revelation during their hour-long interview Tuesday.
“As reported by Bob Woodward, at the height of the pandemic, and remember, and your listeners will remember, hundreds of people died. Everyone was trying to get these kits – the test, the COVID test kits,” Harris said. ‘I couldn’t get them. I couldn’t get them anywhere.’
“And this man who was president of the United States sends them to Russia for his personal use, to a murderous dictator?” Harris asked.
Stern then said he wished Putin would have gotten COVID and “dropped dead,” to which Harris did not answer.
“The point is, this is just the latest, clearest example of who Donald Trump is,” Harris argued. “That he secretly sent COVID test kits for the personal use of Putin, of Russia, an adversary of the United States – when he was talking about how Americans should put bleach in their blood.”
