Kamala Harris came within 20 feet of pipe bomb on January 6

Kamala Harris was just 20 feet away from a “viable” pipe bomb left outside the Democratic National Committee headquarters during the Capitol riot on 6 January2021, a shocking new report claims.

The explosive was planted in a bush just outside the building where the then vice president-elect spent hours Congress was stormed.

Department of Homeland Security internal watchdog report obtained by ABC news said the Secret Service had not searched the outside area.

The report also said that Secret Service dog teams were “surprised” that so few people were able to search the building.

‘[Harris]traveling in an armored vehicle with her entourage, the DNC “The building was dismantled via a ramp within 20 feet of the pipe bomb,” the report said.

Harris had less protection at the time, as she was an elected official but had not yet been sworn in.

But the new report raises more questions about the agency, which has come under fire after the attempted assassination of Donald Trump.

The FBI is still trying to identify the suspect who planted bombs at the DNC and the nearby Republican National Committee headquarters.

The hooded perpetrator was seen on surveillance footage on the night of January 5, but federal authorities have not yet been able to track him down.

The explosive was found 40 minutes after Harris entered the building. The report states that it took the Secret Service 10 minutes to evacuate her, and that she was inside for 1 hour and 50 minutes before the all-clear was given.
