Kamala faces onslaught of backlash for Biden’s mental acuity, ‘border czar’ claims after promising to ‘always tell you the truth’

Kamala Harris vowed Tuesday to “always tell the truth,” prompting immediate backlash from voters who cited her litany of whoppers.

The Democratic candidate delivered her closing arguments in Washington DC exactly a week before Election Day, as she sparked outrage over her truth-challenged past.

‘Why lie about McDonald’s? Why lie about the border czar? Doesn’t she know we can fact check her? She’s lying!’ one person posted on X.

Trump’s campaign also chimed in, noting that the vice president has barely mentioned her role in the current administration as she vied for the Oval Office gig.

“She can’t even acknowledge that she has been in charge of the country for the past 3.5 years,” the campaign wrote.

Kamala Harris is being criticized for guaranteeing during her campaign speech on Tuesday evening that she will always tell the truth

During his speech at The Ellipse, Harris reminded the crowd that Trump stood “in this very place” on January 6 to “incite” a mob to storm the Capitol.

Harris wanted Americans to visualize their two possible futures if either she or Trump took over the Oval Office in less than three months.

“I will always tell you the truth, even when it is hard to hear,” the vice president told the crowd.

Her pledge to honesty came as a surprise to many on social media, who pointed to a slew of statements that received widespread attention.

Some voters pointed out that Harris claimed that Joe Biden and Harris were never declared “border czar.”

Others complained that she could provide no material evidence that she had ever worked at the fast-food chain.

“She hid Joe Biden’s mental decline for years and still denies there is anything wrong with him,” another wrote.

A July poll found that a majority of Americans believe Harris was part of a cover-up to prevent Biden’s aging and senility from being revealed.

Karoline Leavitt, the Trump Campaign’s national press secretary, said the vice president lied about her record to avoid taking responsibility for Biden’s record.

“Kamala Harris lies, curses and clings to the past to avoid admitting the truth – the migrant crime crisis, skyrocketing inflation and raging world wars are the result of her terrible policies,” she said.

The vice president called Donald Trump “unstable” and denounced his “obsession” with “grievance” and “revenge,” seven days before what could be one of the closest races in history.

The campaign pointed to her background as a prosecutor, pointing out that she has laid out the evidence and facts and was not yet ready to make her final pitch.

The central argument of that pitch is that she is not Donald Trump.

“I offer a different path. And I ask for your vote,” she said.

‘It is not my intention to score political points. I’m looking for progress. I promise to listen to experts, to those who will be affected by the decisions I make. And two people who disagree with me – unlike Donald Trump – I don’t believe that people who disagree with me are the enemy. He wants to put them in jail, I will give them a seat at the table,” she said.

“I promise to be a president for all Americans.”

And she called her childhood the daughter of immigrants.

“I have lived the promise of America. I saw how hard our mother worked to give her daughters the same opportunities this country gave her. Growing up, I was blessed with family by blood and family by love, who instilled in me the values of community, compassion and faith. They have always defined our nation at its best.”

Harris attacked Donald Trump from the start, criticizing him for his response to the January 6 insurrection.

The central argument of Harris’ pitch is that she is not Donald Trump

“Donald Trump sat in the White House and watched the violence unfold on television,” she said.

“He was told by his staff that the mafia wanted to kill his own vice president and Donald Trump responded with two words: what then?”

“And that’s the one asking you to give him another four years in the Oval Office,” she added.
