The mystery driver who was filmed dumping a woman with a gunshot wound at a hospital has been identified as a convicted drug dealer.

Kamal Eljamal, 32, remains on the run after the woman was allegedly shot in Condell Park, south-west Sydney, on January 12.

CCTV then captured a white Mercedes stopping at Bankstown Hospital before the driver wearing a hoodie pulled the woman from the vehicle and fled on foot.

NSW Police believe the man was Eljamal and launched a manhunt saying he had been hiding in western Sydney since the incident.

Eljamal had been on probation after spending three years in jail for his drug ring connection to Skaf’s rapist, Mohamed Ghanem.

He was jailed in 2019 before being released from prison on the condition that he remain on probation until June.

Eljamal pleaded guilty to supplying a commercial quantity of ice to Ghanem.

The police found the drugs in the trunk of his car and his fingerprints everywhere.
