Three Premier League clubs are behind Kalvin Phillips and want to loan the Manchester City midfielder for the season.
Everton, Ipswich Town and Fulham have all shown interest in the 28-year-old in recent weeks as he looks to determine his immediate future.
Phillips, who joined City from Leeds United two years ago for £42million, has struggled to integrate into Pep Guardiola’s style of play at the Etihad Stadium.
The England international played on loan at West Ham United at the end of last season, but that failed and he missed out on a place at the European Championship.
Phillips travelled with City’s pre-season tour of the United States this summer and played the last two games at centre-back.

The midfielder featured in his club’s pre-season campaign but failed to make an appearance in the Community Shield prior to the start of the following season.
But he did not appear on the bench for Saturday’s Community Shield win over Manchester United and Guardiola revealed that ‘Kalvin is aware of the situation’ regarding his place in the squad.
Sean Dyche is an admirer of Phillips, while Fulham and Ipswich are looking to strengthen their midfielders.
He impressed as a centre-back for City and Guardiola believed a broader view of the game would benefit Phillips’ performances.
Phillips has four years left on his contract with City.
