Kaley Cuoco posts an emotional tribute to her beloved chihuahua after he passes away

Kaley Cuoco is mourning the loss of her beloved chihuahua Dump Truck, who sadly passed away earlier this week.

The 37-year-old The Big Bang Theory alum, who recently celebrated her first Mother’s Day with daughter Matilda, took to Instagram on Tuesday to write an emotional tribute to the elderly chihuahua she adopted during the pandemic.

“A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than itself,” Cuoco wrote, quoting 19th-century writer Josh Billings. “My dearest Dump Truck, parting with you has pierced my soul deeply.”

She added that the dog was with her during some of the most difficult moments she has had in her life. “You brought endless joy to everyone you met, and kissed my nose when I needed it most,” she wrote.

“You were as special as can be and I’m so thankful we found each other. Please tell Norman I miss him every day and will cherish you forever.”

An outpouring of love and support filled Kaley’s comments section as her Hollywood friends sent their condolences.

“Oh it’s so sad, it’s always so sad,” Lisa Rinna wrote. “Sending love and strength ❤️.”

“I’m so sorry guys ❤️,” Taylor Lautner said, while Mean Girls star Lacey Chabert wrote, “I’m so sorry. Big hugs to you.’

Cuoco is a passionate animal lover and avid equestrian who has a small pack of rescue dogs in Malibu.

The flight attendant star cherished Dump Truck in 2020 and decided to make him a permanent part of her family when COVID hit.

Dump Truck’s passing comes two months after Kaley and her partner Tom Pelphrey adopted another older chihuahua named Opal.

In March, the actress shared a photo of herself hugging Opal, writing, “Thank you @deityanimalresuce and a great foster @thisisdarragh for bringing me this angel.”

She added: “We did something again. We welcome Miss Opal (little female) to our growing family.”

Pain from the past: Kaley suffered a major blow in 2021 when her beloved sidekick Norman passed away. Elder dog’s death left her devastated by ‘earthshaking pain’

Kaley’s pets have been with her every step of the way over the past year, as her private life blossomed with romance and motherhood.

But before she found happiness with boyfriend Pelphrey and their baby girl Matilda, The Meet Cute star took a major blow in 2021 when her cherished sidekick Norman passed away.

The elderly dog’s death left Kaley devastated by “earthshaking pain,” which she wrote candidly about in an Instagram tribute to Norman, captioning a pair of black and white photos.

The heartbroken star wrote, “Landslide, deep, heartbreaking pain I didn’t know was possible. Norman, you were my entire world for 14 years. Thank you for smiling at me when you left this world, reaffirming to me that our language was ours alone. You will always have my heart.’
