Kai Trump released a health update on her golf career as she prepared to play nine holes at her grandfather’s golf course in Jupiter.
Kai, 17, is an extremely high-level golfer and has committed to play collegiately at the University of Miami.
But she recently suffered a minor health setback, which she revealed while talking from her Cybertruck in a new video for her YouTube channel.
When asked what she wanted to shoot on the par-36 front nine, she said she wasn’t quite 100 percent physically yet.
‘I’m feeling a little rusty. Three days ago I sprained my ankle,” she said. “I was playing flag football with my friends.”
Kai went on to explain that she suffered the minor injury after landing awkwardly on her ankle after making a catch.

Nevertheless, she seemed to push away the pain she was dealing with when she scored a score of 38 – exactly the score she had hoped for before taking the course.
Kai, the daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and his ex-wife Vanessa, has long been tipped to beat her grandfather and become the Trump dynasty’s most talented golfer – something she now looks set to fulfill.
She won the women’s club championship at her grandfather’s golf course in Palm Beach, Florida, and has played with some of the game’s biggest stars.
She credited the former (and incoming) president with helping her achieve her collegiate goal when she announced her commitment to the University of Miami.
“I would like to thank my grandfather for giving me access to great courses and great support,” she said.
‘I would also like to thank my entire family for always encouraging and pushing me to be the best person I can be. “I want to thank my friends for always encouraging me,” she continued.
During her guest appearance on Grant Horvat’s YouTube channelshe was asked who often wins the competitions between her and her grandfather Donald Trump.

‘Really, he always gives me my money’s worth. It’s pretty close,” she said.
“It’s never really like the game is over and I won on the 15th hole. He wins a lot of the time. I have to say that. I have to get better.’
She also shared the course with her grandfather as a teammate rather than an opponent.
They were part of a Pro-Am team ahead of the controversial LIV golf tournament at Trump’s Doral course in Florida.
Kai claims on her Instagram page that she is part of Callaway Next, “the next generation of Callaway Tour Pros.”
Her longest ride would be 275 meters. Only 14 players on the LPGA played longer on average into 2023.
