She may have spoken in front of millions of people at the RNC and has thousands of followers on social media — but there’s only one thing that confuses Kai Trump: her crush on celebrities.
The 17-year-old spoke candidly about her personal life in a new video posted to YouTube, where she answered fan questions, including who her celebrity crush is.
Kai, the granddaughter of newly elected President Donald Trump, revealed that the mystery man was Drew Starkey of Outer Banks fame.
Kai took out her phone to confirm she understood the name correctly before repeating it to the camera.
“Why did I even need my phone?” she asked, looking at the device.
“Right, my celebrity crush is Drew Starkey from Outer Banks,” she said in the Q&A.
“I love him, so yeah, that’s my celebrity crush.”
During the video, Kai, the daughter of Trump’s son Don Jr., spoke about the 31-year-old actor and admitted she was getting nervous.

Starkey, who plays Rafe Cameron in the Netflix show, is rumored to be dating 24-year-old actress Odessa A’zion.
Naturally, many viewers were curious about her relationship with her grandfather, future President Trump, and she didn’t hold back.
She immediately revealed what her most embarrassing moment with her grandfather was, and to no one’s surprise, it involved golfing.
‘I took one of my guy friends golfing, and he’s like, “Oh my God, look how hot your boyfriend is,” and stuff, and I was so embarrassed because he has a girlfriend, and that was just awkward .’ Kai shared.
“That’s my most embarrassing moment ever,” she continued.
“And when he met the guy I was talking to, that was a bit awkward too, we don’t need to talk about that.”
During the video, Kai, the daughter of Trump’s son Don Jr., also revealed what inspires her most about her grandfather and what he has taught her over the years.

“He taught me to never give up, and if I have a dream, always try to achieve that dream and just keep trying because one day it will happen, and he’s president of the United States again, so give never up. your dreams,” she said.
She also shared the “most special” experience she’s had with her grandfather so far, admitting it was the last election.
“I feel like it was really crucial for everyone around the world, and to be there with him and be a parent and understand how important it was for him to win, I think that was really special,” Kai said.
The teenager seems to want to spend even more time with her family, especially now that Trump takes over in January.
The youngster also admitted that her choice to attend the University of Miami in 2026 was because she wanted to be close to her friends and family, including her grandfather.
