Kacey Musgraves wore a white bra and matching slip while sitting in a tree, according to photos shared to Instagram on Sunday.
The 35-year-old country singer posted several photos of herself in a tree, taken by photographer Kelly Christine during a photoshoot for the cover of Bitter Southerner magazine.
Kacey captioned the photos with the following quote: “When the roots are deep, there is no fear of the wind.”
She also added, “Outtakes by @kellychristinephoto for my cover of @bittersoutherner (out now), hair @giovannidelgado makeup @moanilee styling @ecduzit assistant by @lindseydupuis,” Kacey wrote in the caption for her roughly 2.6 million followers.
Kacey in the photos was sitting on a thick branch of a large tree as sunlight streamed through the green leaves.

She posed leaning back with her arms behind her head and her long black hair loose and styled in a pony.
Kacey showed off a tattoo on her left rib cage as she stared into the camera.
She also leaned forward as she sat and stared up at a photograph.
Other shots show Kacey smiling barefoot during the photoshoot.
Kacey released her sixth studio album, Deeper Well, in March via MCA Nashville and Interscope Records.
To promote the album, she embarked on the Deeper Well World Tour in April.
Deeper Well debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart in the United States and in the United Kingdom it debuted at number three on the Official Albums Chart.

The Rainbow hitmaker concealed her modesty with just a brown heart emoji.
Kacey is no stranger to daring performances. In 2021, she performed nude on Saturday Night Live, where she was the musical guest.
In her second appearance on the NBC comedy series, she took the stage to sing her hit of the year, Justified.
Her publicist later confirmed that not only was she not lip-synching, but she was also not pretending to be naked when she wore only a pair of cowboy boots and covered her body with her guitar.
“She was naked,” her spokesperson confirmed to Variety“Precautions were taken and this was the first time something like this happened on the show.”
