A Bay Area radio DJ disappeared without a trace and may have left a chilling final message for his fans and loved ones after he disappeared.
Jeffrey ‘JV’ Vandergrift, 54, the host of The JV Show on radio station Wild 94.9, was last seen around 10 p.m. Thursday at his San Francisco home.
A post on Vandergrift’s official Instagram account from August 20 was recently edited to change the subtitles to the past tense, thanking his listeners and saying he’s had a good life.
‘Thank you for a wonderful life filled with joy, laughter, pain and struggle. It has been a great journey. Your support and prayers meant the world,” the caption reads.
His listeners, friends and family are now asking the public to help locate him and bring him home.
