A San Francisco radio DJ who disappeared after leaving a chilling final message on his Instagram page hasn’t used his credit cards or his phone since he went missing.
According to Jeffrey ‘JV’ Vandergrift’s co-workers at Wild 94.9, the updates on his bank and cell phone activity are ‘incredibly concerning’.
Vandergrift was last seen at his Bay Area home just after 10 p.m. after editing the caption to his last Instagram photo, posted in 2022.
‘Thank you for a wonderful life filled with joy, laughter, pain and struggle. It has been a great journey. Your support and prayers meant the world,” the caption now reads.
His loved ones, including his model wife Natasha Yi, who has more than 16 million Facebook followers, are now searching for him and asking him to return home as police say there is no indication that he committed a crime.

According to co-workers of Jeffrey ‘JV’ Vandergrift at Wild 94.9, the missing radio DJ hasn’t used his bank accounts or cell phone since he went missing Thursday.
Supporters gathered outside the iHeart radio station building in San Francisco to show their support for Vandergrift’s family and coworkers.

San Francisco police have asked for the public’s help in locating the man who has been missing for nearly a week.
Officials have described Vandergrift as “at risk” and urge anyone who may have information about her disappearance to come forward.
In a recent statement, Wild 94.9 said they continue to “pray for better news.”
“As you know, our own JV has been missing since Thursday night and was officially reported missing by the SFPD last Friday,” 94.9 said in a statement posted to their social media accounts.
‘Since that time, there has been no traceable activity on his cell phone. There has also been no activity on their credit cards or any other bank records.
“These updates are obviously incredibly concerning, though we continue to hope and pray for better news,” the post continued.
Fans are now supporting Vandergrift’s co-workers and family, as they have left a small display of candles, flowers and signs outside the iHeart radio station building in the Bay Area.

Listeners have also been showing their support for Natasha, who has been he has been silent on social media since his disappearance five days ago, as his followers flooded his pages to share messages of support.

‘Praying that JV returns soon! He is a good guy with a good heart and needs all the love and good energy his way,” another said.
‘Natasha- hang in there. I hope you can feel the arms of the bay enveloping you,” wrote one person.
“We love you and JV, and I hate the audacity of anyone who would leave critical comments on your page knowing everything you’re going through right now,” the person continued.
Yi, a playboy model and actress, has two million followers on Instagram.
Before he apparently stopped using Instagram in 2022, Vandergrift had shared dozens of photos of his wife and them together.
However, it was his last post in August that caused serious concern among fans.

Vandergrift and Yi married in 2006 after three years of dating, and then renewed their wedding vows in 2017.
Followers flooded Yi’s pages to share messages of love for the DJ’s wife.

Listeners pointed out that the post, originally shared as a celebration of National Radio Day according to their Twitter account, had been altered.
The DJ or someone with access to his account had edited the caption to thank his fans for their support and used past tense language, prompting many to worry about his safety and mental health.

Ever since he edited the caption and disappeared, the comments section has become a place for his fans and loved ones to send him love in the hope that he gets to see it.
‘Dear JV. You are loved. We are all praying for you and thinking of you,’ wrote one person.
‘We all pray for you and think of you. Sometimes it’s nice to get away and clear our heads, but we’re worried about you,” said one commenter.

The pair quickly teamed up for various projects, including the production of their shows, Dog House Comedy Show.
On YouTube, the couple has a successful joint account with more than 10,000 followers. Some of his videos have racked up hundreds of thousands of views.
While the two thrived in the spotlight, JV took a short break in 2021 after being diagnosed with Lyme disease, according to The Sun.
Vandergrift is described as a white male, 6’0′, 180 pounds, bald and with brown eyes.
Police say he has several tattoos, including one on his arms and above his right ear, and was last seen wearing black sweatpants.
