Juventus have reportedly turned down the chance to sign Manchester United outcast Marcus Rashford.

Rashford has not played for his side since their Europa League victory over Viktoria Plzen in the Czech Republic after admitting in an impressive interview that he is ‘ready for a new challenge’.

The forward has not featured for United since, playing away in each of the last four games, three of which ended in defeats for the Old Trafford club.

Juve are looking to strengthen their squad in January and The Sun claim Rashford has been offered to them.

However, the Italian giants are said to be more interested in signing Rashford’s teammate Joshua Zirkzee.

The Dutchman has failed to make much of an impact since his £36.5million move from Bologna in the summer.

He has contributed just four goals and two assists in 26 appearances, with many fans questioning the signing.

However, his reputation remains strong in Italy and Juventus boss Thiago Motta believes he can get the best out of him.

Motta was Zirkzee’s manager at Bologna and a reunion could suit both parties if United were willing to let him go.

Amorim kept his cards close to his chest as questions naturally turned to the absent star after Thursday’s 2-0 defeat to Wolves.

“It’s always the same reason,” he told Prime Video when asked about Rashford.

“We have to be the same professionals, the same guys, win or lose. If I lose, I have to be stronger. I will continue with my idea until the end.’

“If he’s not there you can make a decision,” the Man United head coach added.

Mail Sport had reported earlier this month that the club could listen to offers starting from £40 million for the England forward.

He currently earns £300,000 a week on a contract that runs until 2028, but it is unlikely that any club will be willing to match that wage.

After 30 goals in the 2022-2023 season, Rashford struggled to reach the levels he set in 2023-2024, with his inconsistent form continuing in 2024-2025.

He has scored four goals and one assist in the Premier League so far this season.
