Justin Timberlake turns off Instagram comments after the release of his ex Britney Spears’ book due to the ‘hateful’ things people were saying

Just days after the release of his ex-Britney Spears book The Woman In Me, Justin Timberlake has disabled comments on his Instagram.

Timberlake, 42, and Spears, 41, dated for three years between 1999 and 2002, with Spears revealing in her new book that she had an abortion.

She also revealed that Timberlake was “not happy” with the pregnancy and did not want to become a father so young, which led to the abortion.

Although Timberlake has not publicly responded to the claims Spears made in her book, which was published on Tuesday, he has disabled Instagram comments.

A source said Page six that the decision was made because of the “hateful, disgusting things people said,” days after sources claimed he was “not happy” with Spears’ revelations in the book.

Timberlake hasn’t posted to his Instagram in almost a month, as his reunion song with NSYNC – Better Place – was released on September 29.

The singer and actor posted a short video with his NSYNC bandmates – JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Lance Bass and Chris Kirkpatrick – discussing their new song.

Britney claims in the book that she had an abortion when she was just 19 years old because he wasn’t ready to become a father so young.

‘It was a surprise, but for me it was not a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. “I always expected that one day we would start a family together,” Britney wrote.

‘This would just be a lot sooner than I expected. But Justin was definitely not happy with the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young,” she added.

‘If it had been up to me alone, I would never have done it. And yet Justin was so sure he didn’t want to be a father,” she added.

“To this day, it is one of the most painful things I have ever experienced in my life,” Spears wrote about the abortion.

Earlier this week, a source told Daily Mail: “Justin hasn’t approached Britney about this at all and he won’t because he can’t say anything to her.”

“She was there and is just telling it from her point of view,” the source added.

‘That doesn’t mean he’s okay with it. Justin is not happy at all with what has emerged in this book.”

They added: ‘Creating this book has given Britney life and she really doesn’t care who is offended by anything in the book because it is what happened.

‘She was there and experienced it. Nobody can say anything. She has taken all of this out of her and is now moving on.”

A second insider claimed that the “baggage” from Britney’s memoir was “stressful” for Justin and his wife Jessica, whose October 19 wedding anniversary was overshadowed.
