Justin Timberlake showed his support for a woman’s right to choose before Britney Spears abortion revelation – as fans SLAM him on Instagram

Justin Timberlake has voiced his support for women’s right to choose in the years after his ex-girlfriend Britney Spears had an abortion because he wasn’t ready to start a family.

Spears, 41, revealed in her upcoming memoir The Woman In Me that she became pregnant with Timberlake in 2000 and ultimately decided to have an abortion because her then-boyfriend “didn’t want to be a father.”

Timberlake, 42, discussed women’s rights during a 2008 meeting between Barack Obama and his future wife Jessica Biel. MTV.

“No one should be able to tell you what you can do with your body,” Jessica said.

‘I always give Jess the right to choose where we eat. The funny thing is, what the woman chooses is usually right,” Justin added jokingly.

After the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade last year, Justin’s pro-choice stance was visible on his Twitter account, where he shared several posts pushing back on the legal decision.

Timberlake retweeted a message Biel posted in which he spoke out against the decision: “I’m furious. What happened today is not only a disgusting step backwards for women – undermining our ability to make decisions for our own bodies… but it is also dangerous. You didn’t ban abortion, you banned access to SAFE abortion. #BansOffOurBodies,” the tweet read.

He also shared messages tweeted by Planned Parenthood Action and the ACLU with similar views.

Planned Parenthood Action’s tweet included resources for abortion care, while the ACLU’s post described how the decision would harm certain demographic groups.

“Decades of racism, discrimination, and structural inequities within the healthcare system will mean that people of color, immigrants, LGBTQ people, young people, and those trying to make ends meet will bear the brunt of forced pregnancy policies,” the tweet said .

Fans were ruthless after Britney’s revelation went public, taking to social media to direct their anger at the pop star.

Posts he pinned to the top of his Instagram account were met with angry backlash from fans, including one who wrote: ‘Publicly shaming a woman for over a decade when she aborted a child for you, which disgusting.’

The Toxic hitmaker, 41, who dated Timberlake from 1999 to 2002, details the ‘painful’ decision to end the pregnancy in her forthcoming memoir, The Woman In Me – after becoming pregnant in late 2000 when the pair were both 19, DailyMail.com can confirm.

The star claimed that while she wanted the baby and “dreamed of a family” with Timberlake, he “wasn’t ready” for the responsibilities of parenthood and felt the couple was too young.

She writes this in an excerpt obtained by People: ‘It was a surprise, but for me it was not a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always expected that one day we would start a family together. This would just be a lot sooner than I expected.

“He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young. I’m sure people will hate me for this, but I agreed not to have the baby.

‘I don’t know if that was the right decision. If it had been up to me alone, I would never have done it. And yet Justin was so sure he didn’t want to be a father.’
