Justin Timberlake debuts SECOND single off upcoming album Everything I Thought I Was on Saturday Night Live

Justin Timberlake made a triumphant return to Saturday Night Live last night.

The SexyBack singer, 42, debuted the second single from his new album Everything I Thought I Was, out March 15.

He performed the new song, Sanctified, along with the lead single, Selfish.

The new song features Houston rapper Tobe Nwigwe and is the first album for Timberlake since 2018’s Man of the Woods.

His previous release received a lukewarm response, so the Cry Me a River hitmaker is looking for big numbers from his new album.

In April, the What Goes Around Comes Around crooner will begin the North American leg of his Forget the World tour.

On Saturday night, Justin also crashed Dakota Johnson’s opening monologue with Jimmy Fallon, 49, who appeared as Barry Gibb, signaling the return of the duo’s talk show sketch The Barry Gibb.

Timberlake plays Robin Gibb in the long-running gag. Fallon and the former NSYNC member debuted the sketch in 2003, and before last night, the fake Gibb brothers’ last appearance was in 2013.

The duo opened the skit by singing an intro while introducing talk show guests, who were played by Dakota, Kenan Thompson and also Bowen Yang.

As Jimmy played guitar, the two stars sang lyrics like, “talking about the Barry Gibb Talk Show, talking about problems, talking about real important issues…”

After the musical intro, the pair sat down, dressed in ’70s-inspired suits, and Fallon’s Barry Gibb said, “Good evening, ladies and gentlemen.” We have a great show for you tonight. This is my show, and it’s a no-nonsense show.’

He pointed out that it’s an election year, and when he asked if his brother Robin had any comment, Justin replied as Robin, “No. No, I don’t.’

Jimmy then asked Thompson a question based on the topic, and Kenan responded with, “Well, that’s an interesting question.”

‘Oh, right? It is interesting? Do you find it interesting?’ Fallon asked, his voice growing louder. Kenan simply responded with, “Yes, I do.”

“Well, I think you’re interesting, okay? You look like Don King ate another Don King!’ Jimmy cried out, clearly upset.

He continued to say to Thompson’s character, “Every month I will replace your shoes with an identical pair of a larger size so that you think your feet are shrinking.” I am not afraid of anything!’

‘I watched Saltburn with my whole family! And I knew the bathtub scene beforehand, and I loved it!’ he said loudly. Jimmy then asked if his brother had any comment and again responded with, “No. No, I don’t.’

Fallon then asked a question to Bowen Yang, who started calling him by his name Barry Gibb.

He went on another quick rant and then asked a question to Dakota’s character, but she interrupted him to answer before he could finish, upsetting him.

‘How dare you interrupt me! I do not play! I am a legend! You can’t break me!’ Fallon shouted. Shortly afterwards he asked his brother if he had any comment, but again, he did not.

However, Bowen intervened and said he had something to add, causing Jimmy to scream again, and soon Fallon and Timberlake started singing.

The skit ended with a closing tune and the other guests joined in by dancing in the background.
