Justin Bieber’s father Jeremy celebrates the arrival of his first grandchild – after his pop star son welcomed baby with Hailey Bieber

Justin Bieber’s father is celebrating his first grandfatherhood after the birth of their first child with Hailey Bieber, a baby boy named Jack.

“Dad,” was the comment Jeremy Bieber, 49, wrote on X on August 24, possibly referring to the name he wants his grandson to be called.

The 30-year-old Yummy singer announced he had become a father the day before, writing: ‘WELCOME HOME JACK BLUES BIEBER’ alongside an adorable photo of the baby’s foot in a soft blanket.

Justin’s wife Hailey, 27, reshared the photo to her Instagram Stories.

The name continues a Bieber family tradition of giving children the initials JB. Justin has a half-sister named Jazmyn, 14, and a half-brother, Jaxon, 16.

The little one is also named after his grandfather. Jeremy’s middle name is Jack.

Justin’s mom Pattie Mallette, 49, reshared the sweet snap to her Instagram Stories, writing, “OH MY HEART. WELCOME BABY JACK!! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!”

‘THANK THE LORD[,] “WHAT A MIRACLE!” she concluded.

Mallette continued to express her excitement on X, writing, “CONGRATULATIONS @justinbieber & Hailey,” tagging her daughter-in-law.

Hailey’s parents were also elated. Her father Stephen Baldwin reshared Mallette’s tweet and added his own, “Amen, congratulations and may God continue to bless our family.”

Hailey and Justin were married in September 2018 in a ceremony at the New York City Courthouse. A year later, they walked down the aisle in a more formal ceremony in front of family and friends.

They announced in May that they were expecting a child.

In an interview with the Sunday Times In May 2023, the model admitted that she was afraid of having children because of the way she was often trolled on social media.

“I literally cry about this all the time,” she told the outlet.

“I want children so badly, but they scare me. It’s enough that people say things about my husband or my friends. I can’t imagine having to confront people who say things about a child.”

“We can only do our best to raise them,” she added, “as long as they feel loved and safe.”
