A juror in the trial of Brittany Higgins’ accused rapist has admitted to bringing multiple banned documents to court.

The sexual assault trial of Bruce Lehrmann was aborted in the ACT Supreme Court Thursday morning after a sheriff officer found an academic investigative article on sexual assault in the jury room.

Chief Justice Lucy McCallum had no choice but to dismiss the jury and move the trial to February 2023 for the time being.

However, according to a written ruling by Chief Justice Lucy McCallum, it was discovered that the juror in question had two more banned documents.
