Jurgen Klopp is ‘not available’ for the vacant job as Germany coach, his agent has confirmed.
Liverpool manager Marc Kosicke’s agent said he would honor his contract with Liverpool, which expires in June 2026.
The job in Germany became up for grabs when Hansi Flick was sacked on Sunday after a humiliating 4-1 home defeat to Japan.
However, Klopp will not be in the running. “Jürgen has a long-term contract with Liverpool and is not available for the position of national coach,” says Kosicke. Sports show.

He added: “It’s actually an interesting job. But I don’t know yet whether I will do something completely different after leaving Liverpool. I want to keep my options open.’
The German national team has been struggling with clarity and competence, both on and off the pitch, for some time now.
They were knocked out in the group stages at the 2018 and 2022 World Cups – a far cry from when they won in 2014 under Joachim Low.
