Kornmayer has been a vital part of the club’s setup since joining in July 2016.
Liverpool have battled fatigue and injury throughout the season with star players from recent seasons looking like a shell of their former self.
Klopp revealed in his pre-match press conference on Friday that he had given his team two days off after their 3-0 loss to Wolves last weekend.
