Julie Chrisley will celebrate her 51st birthday in prison with ‘visits from her kids’ as she comes up on the one year anniversary of her incarceration

Julie Chrisley of the reality TV show Chrisley Knows Best is celebrating her 51st birthday behind bars.

The star – who is reportedly considering divorcing her husband Todd, 54, following their fraud convictions – will be visited by family on her birthday, according to a source who spoke to People.

The insider claimed that Julie will be visited by her daughters Savannah, 26, and Chloe, 11, as well as her son Grayson, 17.

“Julie is strong and optimistic and certainly does not want to be behind bars before her birthday,” her attorney Alex Little of Burr & Forman LLP told the outlet.

“But she is hopeful that with the call-out, this will be the last birthday she spends at bars.”

Both Todd and Julie are appealing their convictions. Oral arguments will take place in April.

Julie Chrisley looks forward to a visit from family for her 51st birthday Tuesday in federal prison where she is serving her five-year sentence for fraud

The star is serving a five-year prison sentence at Federal Medical Center Lexington in Kentucky, a minimum security facility, after being convicted in June 2022 of 12 counts of tax evasion and bank fraud.

She has been housed at the facility since January 17, 2023.

Savannah has had custody of her younger siblings since her parents were in prison.

According to Savannah, who runs a real estate company in Nashville with her brother Chase, 27, scheduling the hearing is a good sign.

‘Only about 6 percent of the cases submitted for oral argument are granted. So this is big news,” she explained in an Instagram video.

‘We can start discussing why mom and dad have to be home. So God is good.’

During their time behind bars, Savannah said both her parents faced challenges.

Todd has complained about living conditions at Federal Prison Camp Pensacola in Florida, claiming guards there attacked him for speaking out.

As for Julie, “she just stays busy,” her daughter said.

“You know, she’s trying to do anything and everything, take classes, be the first to go — anything that man knows she can do, she does,” Savannah told her Unlocked listeners podcast in May 2023.

‘And you know my mother. Like, she walks into a room and if something needs to be done, she just starts doing it,” the agent explained. “So she’s trying to keep busy. Her health is what she tries to focus on. I think she’s trying to protect us from a lot of things. Because that’s my mother. That’s who she is.’
